CDHU: AI Lab

The CDHU AI Lab involves a socio-material infrastructure comprising research engineers with expertise in several aspects and applications of artificial intelligence, such as:

• Natural language processing
• Optical character recognition
• Handwritten text recognition

The CDHU AI Lab is a collaborative research environment based at the Centre for Digital Humanities and Social Sciences Uppsala (CDHU) at the Department of ALM. The work conducted here focuses on humanities and social science research relating to artificial intelligence (AI) and collects together several national and international AI-related research projects as well as researchers who are affiliated and cooperating with CDHU and the Department of ALM are directing or involved as partners or participants.
